WREXHAM AFC's co-chairman is set to feature in a brand new heart-warming film to be released this weekend.
Directed by The Office star and director of A Quiet Place John Krasinski, brand new all-family film 'IF' will be released on May 11 and 12 with special preview screenings. The official UK release date is May 17.

It stars the likes of Cailey Fleming and Fiona Shaw and the voices of Steve Carell, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and so much more.
'IF' focuses on a young girl who goes through a difficult experience and begins to see everyone's imaginary friends who have been left behind as their real-life friends have grown up.
In the film which 'you have to believe to see', Deadpool star and Wrexham co-chairman Ryan Reynolds plays the matchmaker for imaginary friends, Cal.
The family comedy filled with adventure and imagination features an array of animated characters, from a dragon to a bear to a banana.

"I think it's beautiful", said Ryan in a film preview for Paramount Pictures. "It feels a bit like a live action Pixar film."
Alongside co-chairman Rob McElhenney, Ryan has also been working on the third installment of award-winning docu-series 'Welcome to Wrexham', not to mention his latest Deadpool film to be released in the US on July 26, 2024. It's been a busy year indeed!
The nearest special preview on May 11 is being shown at Cineworld Cinema in Llandudno. It will be available to watch in Wrexham's Odeon on May 17.
