An informal event for domestic abuse survivors to share their views and experiences of how North Wales Police and its partners dealt with their case is to be hosted later this month.

The purpose of the event is to have survivor participation and engagement so that agencies can learn from the feedback to improve the service.

Detective Sergeant Vicki Keegans from North Wales Police said: “It’s very important that we hear from a diverse range of people with lived experience of domestic abuse and that they are able to use their voice to help create meaningful change.

“We understand that attending the event may be difficult, but please be reassured that it will be safe and support services will be available to those attending if required. The event will be an informal group discussion where those attending can contribute as much or as little as they feel comfortable in doing.”
