A MAIN road in Wrexham is blocked this afternoon (Tuesday, May 7) following a crash.
The incident happened on the A525 just prior to the A483 junction at around 12pm.
North Wales Police said the road is closed. A spokesperson said: "Please be aware that there is heavy traffic due to a collision on the A525 Ruthin Road slip from the A483 - officers currently at scene."
In a further update at 3.20pm, they said: "Looks like a two vehicle collision and the road is still blocked. Appears they’re waiting for traffic lights to be fixed.
"Doesn’t appear serious, just some traffic disruption because the lights."
A Wrexham Council spokesperson added: "Some traffic signals at junction 4 of the A483 along Ruthin Road are not working at the moment. Some congestion is starting to build so please avoid the area for now if you can. Thank you."
