A NUMBER of A55/A494 slip roads in Flintshire are set for nightly closures. 

The closures for routine maintenance begin tonight (May 7) at the Dobshill junction, with the westbound off-slip and eastbound onslip closed from 7pm until 6am on Wednesday. The eastbound off-slip will be closed from 7.30pm on May 9 until 6am on May 10.

In the coming days and weeks, the following slip roads will also be closed: 

  • Eastbound Ewloe loop from A55 will be closed from 8pm on May 8 until 6am on May 9.
  • A494 westbound onslip from Ewloe roundabout will be closed from 7.30pm on May 9 until 6am on May 10.
  • A494 eastbound onslip to A55 Ewloe closed between 7.30pm on May 9 and 6am on May 10.
  • Westbound offslip Ewloe loop will be closed from 7.30pm on May 14 until 6am on May 15.
  • A55 J33b Alltami westbound offslip will be closed from 7pm on May 14 until 6am on May 15.
  • A55 eastbound onslip at Alltami will be closed from 8.30pm from May 15 until 7.30am on May 16.
  • A55 Junction 33a Brookside (Northop Hall) eastbound on/off slip roads will be closed from 8pm on May 20 until 7am on May 21.
  • A55 Pinfold Lane westbound on/off slip roads closed from 8pm on May 20 until 7am on May 21.
