PATROLS have been stepped up in a North Wales community after two burglaries within a matter of days.
Over the weekend, PCSO Dean Sawyer of the Wrexham Rural policing team urged residents to take extra care and precautions following the incidents.
He explained: "This month Erbistock has been hit with two burglaries.
"Please make sure all doors, windows and outbuildings are locked up.
"Also make sure all security systems working and switched on.

"North Wales Police patrols have been increased in the area."
PCSO Sawyer also confirmed that last week, he met up with the community councillors in Bangor-On-Dee to conduct a walkaround the village.
Matters discussed on the walk were parking issues, criminal damage, anti-social behaviour and speeding.
He added: "It was a lovely afternoon which which also gave them the chance to speak to a number of local residents."
