A WREXHAM company has been taken over, with all current staff to stay and plans for expansion.
Engineers Mate, an independent supplier of bearings, power transmissions, motors, gearboxes and consumables, have announced the acquisition of Bearing Traders, based on Wrexham Industrial Estate.
Bearing Traders have been a leading supplier of MRO products in North Wales for more than 20 years and have now been purchased by Engineers Mate.

All of the existing staff at the Coed Aben Road site have been kept on and the new owners plan to expand the operation with new employees over the coming years.
Engineers Mate is a multi-million pound MRO distributor with five depots and an engineering workshop across the Midlands, with their head office and warehouse based in Telford.

They will operate a 24-hour, seven-day a week service to customers in Wrexham and the surrounding areas, supplying critical spares to ensure industry can keep operating.
Managing director Jon Head, said: "We already have great stocks in Coed Aben Road which we plan to increase with additional product lines ensuring all of our local customers can have instant access to products.
"We also hold in excess of £2m in stock in our central warehouse in Telford, which is only 50 minutes away. Once we have established ourselves in Wrexham we have plans for further expansion into Wales."
