A FLINTSHIRE animal rescue centre is appealing to the public to find four beautiful dogs their forever home.

Almost Home Dog Rescue, based in Mold, provides a safe haven for abandoned dogs before uniting them with their new home and owner.

It also aims to support and educate the next generation of dog owners to prevent an increase in the number of pets being carelessly neglected.

Anyone interested in the following pups should fill out the adoption form here.

Meet Buster

Buster sadly found himself in the care of Almost Home after his owner became too poorly to take care of him. He came straight into foster and hasn’t looked back. He was a little confused at first but then started to show his unique character.

At nearly 10 years old, Buster is full of life. He adores his walks and loves adventures. He's also great in the car and on lead, and it’s very clear he has been a loved member of the family!

He is house-trained, loves the garden and sunbathing. Buster sleeps all night in his own bed in the bedroom. He’s been amazing with his fosters other dog and loves trying to get her to play. He is happy and grateful for everything.

Due to his breed type he will need regular grooming, please consider this before applying.

Meet Mylo

Mylo is a Pomerania who’s only dinky, and he’s just had his 9th birthday in council kennel pound at risk of being put to sleep.

He's full of character and completely adorable. Sadly he needs some TLC but thankfully he has passed a full health check. Now it’s time to allow him to gain weight and condition.

He is only 3.2kg currently so does need to gain some weight but he is a good eater so it’ll happen with ease.

His skin and fur will improve with his diet and basic care. He’s now started his vaccinations, been flead/wormed and will be here red when ready!

In foster, he’s with two other dogs and he is happy with them. He’s been good with other dogs when out and about walking too. He loves his walks and is good on lead. He’s good in the car and isn’t worried about passing traffic.

He adores human and canine company, so needs a home with plenty of company. He will need regular grooming too due to his breed so please consider this before applying to adopt.

Meet Harry and Harvey

Both these lads came in to our care due to their owners being unable to cope. Their needs were more intense than they first realised. Harry and Harvey are brothers form the same litter who are now holding each other back developmentally.

It’s clear that they need rehoming separately. This is a choice we have made a team including two behaviourists, vets and their fosters.

Whilst in foster they have been walked separately and they are enjoying their walks more and becoming more self confident and social.

These lads have just turned one year old and have now passed their health checks. Almost Home have had them neutered and they are vaccinated, chipped, flead and wormed.

They are enjoying their walks and their lead manners are improving daily as is their house training. They are also crate trained and good in the car.

Both dogs are active, very switched on and need plenty of stimulation and exercise.

Harry is black and tan, slightly more nervous and takes a little longer to get comfy. Harvey is a dapple colour and more confident and outgoing. These boys are hopefully a 10 year plus commitment.
