A woman remains in hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision on the border of Flintshire and Chester during the early hours Friday, April 26.
Shortly before 2.30am North Wales Police was contacted by colleagues at Cheshire Constabulary reporting a collision involving a pedestrian and a Vauxhall Insignia car on Sealand Road by the Texaco garage.
Officers attended and the female pedestrian, who is in her 30s, was taken to Aintree Hospital.
Sergeant Steve Richards of North Wales Police’s Roads Crime Unit said: “Our investigation into this incident is under way and I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
“If you were driving in the area of Sealand Road prior to 2.30am and have a dash cam fitted on your vehicle, please check as you may have recorded some crucial footage to help with our enquiries.
“I am also appealing to the driver of a taxi who we know was in the area around the time of the incident and who may have spoken to the female to contact us as they may have information that could assist the investigation.”

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called this morning, Friday 26 April, at approximately 2.32am, to reports of a road traffic collision on Sealand Road involving a car and a pedestrian.
"We sent two emergency ambulances and one Cymru High Acuity Response Unit to the scene.
"One patient was conveyed to hospital for further treatment.”
