A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital after a collision involving a car near a Tesco store in Flintshire.
Emergency services were called to the incident near the Tesco store in Holywell at around 8.25am on Monday.
Witnesses stated that the incident involved a child who was subsequently taken to hospital.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.24am this morning (Monday, April 22) to a report of a road traffic collision, involving a car a pedestrian near Tesco in Holywell.
"Officers attended, along with colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service, to divert traffic and clear the road.
"One person was taken to hospital."
