A FLINTSHIRE animal rescue centre is appealing to the public to find three beautiful dogs their forever home.
Almost Home Dog Rescue, based in Mold, provides a safe haven for abandoned dogs before uniting them with their new home and owner.
It also aims to support and educate the next generation of dog owners to prevent an increase in the number of pets being carelessly neglected.
Anyone interested in the following pups should fill out the adoption form here.
Meet Yogi
Sadly, Five month old Yogi came into their care due to his owners ill-health. Since arriving in our care he went straight to foster, where he is living with two other dogs and a dog savvy older child. He is a lovely lad but a typically young pup.
Yogi is full of life and mischief. He is housetrained but still can have accidents. He is used to sleeping downstairs and fine to be left for short periods of time.
At the vets he was a star. He has now started his vaccinations and been flead and wormed. Yogi will be neutered under contract when he is old enough and as always, Almost Home will cover the cost.
Yogi needs a home who have considered all aspects of getting a young active puppy. Realising he is a 10-15 year commitment who requires a lot of input and training. Please do have a think regarding how different your life can be in 5, 10, 15 years and Yogi will still be there needing daily input.
Meet Ruby and Aggie
These girls came in to Almost Home's care due to very sensitive matter including their owners ill health.
They are 21 weeks old and Cockerpoo x spaniel’s and the shelter will not be rehoming them together. As always with pups, you can apply and we will mathletes you to the right one based on the information you give us on the adoption enquiry form and what we have learnt about them.
Sadly due to the circumstances which lead them to come in to our care, it is clear they haven’t had the right care or socialisation. They are nervous and unsure of the world however since in foster are coming along very well and taking everything in their stride.
They have passed healthchecks, however both need to gain and condition. They're around 3 to 4 kgs each and will be adopted on a spaying contract which Almost Home will cover financially. They are also full vaccinated, flead, wormed and mircochipped. We have booked them in for a puppy groom too.
These girls are lovely, they adore their food and a good fuss. Both are happy to be handled, love to play, have had a bath and starting to understand how to walk on lead.
They will sit for their food now and 90% housetrained. Both travel well in a crate too. As they mature, both girls need plenty of mental and physical stimulation daily. A walk is not enough for these dogs!
Meet Sally
Sally was a stray who never got claimed. It’s clear she’s been bred from and then abandoned.
She’s such a sweet girl who hasn’t seen much of real life however so far she’s taken everything in her stride. Sally is stealing everyone’s hearts so far.
Sally has been great with everyone and all the dogs she’s met. She’s happy to walk solo or with others dogs, once she’s spayed we I’ll try her off lead around dogs.

This girl was a star at the vets and has passed her full healthcheck. Shes now started her vaccinations, been flead, wormed and microchipped. Shes also booked in to be spayed, no more breeding for this lovely girl!
Almost Home think she’s around 3 years old and hound type who’s 27.5kg. Sally could live with dog savvy children and possibly other dogs. She’s picking up her lead manners well and will do anything for some food which will aid in training.
She also travels well and isn’t worried about passing traffic when walking. This girl really deserves her own place to call home. She needs active home due to her breed and someone who loves adventures.
