A FLINTSHIRE music festival is set to return for the first time since the pandemic.
Running every other year since 2010, Nercwys Music Festival will be back in full swing next month.
Organiser Phil Gerrard has lined up plenty of musical entertainment for the event. Performing on the night will be Soul Revolver, from Chester; Blozone, from Whitchurch; soul singer Grace Edwards; Alessia Molinari and The Distance, with Dilwyn Pierce as the evening's MC.
Sponsored by more than 40 local businesses, profits from the night will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support, Wales Air Ambulance and North Wales NHS charity Awyr Las. Over the years the festival has raised more than £20,000 for good causes.
Phil said: "I enjoy it and it's a big buzz for me to organise it, see everybody there having a good time. And other people give their time to help.

"We support the charities because you just never know when it's you that's going to need them."
Nercwys Music Festival takes place on Saturday, May 11 at 5 Acre Field, Nercwys, from 6pm to midnight. Tickets are £12.50 each, available on the gate on the night. There is plenty of parking, food and a bar will be available, and the event takes places in an undercover area.
