A set of 18th-century gem set jewels thought to be worth around £33,000 headlined a number of precious items valued by Antiques Roadshow upon their visit to Powis Castle.
Thousands of enthusiasts braved one of the hottest days of the year back in 2022 when the BBC's Antiques Roadshow visited Powis Castle in Welshpool.
The castle proved the ideal backdrop for the show as the structure itself dates back to the 13th century when it was originally built as a medieval fortress.

Antiques Roadshow visited Powis Castle back in July 2022 where it filmed an episode for the 45th series of the show.
The episode eventually aired a year later in May 2023.

Antiques Roadshow guest stunned as family heirloom valued at £33,000 at Powis Castle
People from across the country visited Welshpool to seek out the advice of the Antiques Roadshow experts about items they had stored away at home.
From a miniaturised grandfather clock to a porcelain egg perfume bottle there were a number of items that featured in the episode, valued by the professionals.
But it was a set of three 18th-century gem set jewels that received the highest valuation.
The guest explained the jewels - which were shaped like a butterfly, a bow and a broach - had been handed down to her by her father and grandmother.
She in turn revealed she planned on passing them on to her daughters in time.
After talking through the jewels with the guest, Antiques Roadshow presenter Geoffrey Munn revealed together they would be worth around £33,000.
The guest seemed shocked and said: "Gosh. I had no idea."
