A TAKEAWAY business in Wrexham's city centre has confirmed its summer reopening date in a new venue.
‘Wing King’ situated in Ty Pawb announced it would be moving to a new unit in the complex for a bigger space and longer opening hours, enhancing overall customer experience and satisfaction.
After months of speculating the move will happen this summer, owner Andrew Boycott is thrilled to announce it will reopen on June 4.
Wing King is moving to the former Gusto d'Italia restaurant unit in the South Arcade of Ty Pawb which closed earlier this year.
Andrew said: “The move will also mean we can introduce a larger restaurant menu, alcohol and specials.
“We will open extended times for football games and review our opening times if demand is there. It allows us to open later daily beyond Ty Pawb’s central opening times.
”I'd also like to point out and include this wouldn't have been possible without Amy Wainscott (city centre manager) and Amanda Davies' (Ty Pawb) support and help.
“The support and help they've provided has been exceptional and is a great starting block for a shop or food unit.”
The business was also recently paid a visit by YouTube sensation Danny Malin from the hit series Rate my Takeaway who tired the Wing King menu after it received continuous praise from Wrexham customers.
Danny thoroughly enjoyed the food describing the wings as “spot on” and “absolutely gorgeous.”

Now, owner Andrew is taking Wing King to a bigger and better unit to grow the business even further.
He continues: “We’re even hoping Ryan and Rob could come down to cut the ribbon on opening night!”
All customers are invited to join Andrew and the team at the new venue this summer.
