A WREXHAM-based restaurant has received a food hygiene rating of zero for the second time in five months.
The food hygiene rating scheme gives businesses in England and Wales a rating of 0-5, 5 being the highest, based on their hygiene standards.
The scheme is run in partnership with local authorities and in Wales businesses are obligated to display their rating.
New ratings were awarded to several establishments throughout the county in March and April.
The latest figures show that the Red Lion Indian & Sports Bar, based at the Red Lion Hotel in Marford, was awarded a zero rating on March 6.

That follows on from another zero-rating handed out to the Marford Hill venue back in December of last year.
Back then, staff said that the restaurant was 'under new management' and would be working to 'improve' their food hygiene rating.
The Red Lion has been approached for comment with regards to the latest rating.
Its website states that the venue offers 'premium Indian food at the best value'.
It adds: "Our Indian restaurant is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking not just a meal, but a great place to dine in and celebrate."
