POLICE have issued an update on an incident that saw a street in Wrexham city centre cordoned off.
Abbot Street was cordoned off by police following an incident during the early hours of Sunday.
Witnesses reported seeing a person receive medical treatment shortly after 2am, with reports of CPR being administered to one individual.
Police remained at the scene on Sunday morning, with the cordon being lifted at about 11.30am.
On Monday, North Wales Police issued an update on the incident - which they said didn't involve a stabbing amid social media speculation.
A spokesperson said: "At 1.42am on Sunday morning, officers attended a public order incident outside a licensed premises on Abbot Street, Wrexham.
"One man was arrested on suspicion of wounding, and has subsequently been released with no further action to be taken."
They added: "A person was given medical attention at the scene but [we have] since been told they are fine and suffered no injuries."
