A Wrexham man who subjected police officers to drunken threats and abuse in the early hours of the morning has been fined.
Jaden Gough, of St Margaret Way, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old admitted that on February 24, at Brook Street in Wrexham, he was guilty whilst drunk of disorderly behaviour.
Justin Espie, prosecuting, told the court that at around 4am on the day of the offence, police on Brook Street heard the defendant telling another officer to "f*** off."

When asked to leave, he began shouting and swearing, as well as making various threats towards the police, who eventually subdued and arrested him.
Gough represented himself at the hearing.
In limited submissions to the court, he confirmed he is in receipt of benefits.
Deputy District Judge Paul Conlon told him: "This was threatening abuse towards the police in the early hours.
"But you have pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity.
"I will deal with you by way of a fine."
As such, Gough received a £40 fine for the offence and must also pay a £16 victim surcharge, as well as £85 costs.
