WREXHAM fans had to be quick to get their hands on tickets for the Reds game at Crewe, with the allocation selling out in minutes. 

Tickets to the game at Crewe Alexandra on April 20 went on sale at 10am this morning. 

The match, which could prove pivotal in the race for promotion to League Two is the penultimate game of the season, with both sides eyeing a spot in the automatic places. 

Fans had to be quick to get their hands on a golden ticket as the allocation of 1,650 sold out within minutes, leaving some fans overjoyed and others gutted. 

Some fans had even been camping outside the SToK Cae Ras overnight in a bid to ensure they got a ticket to the game. 

A Wrexham AFC spokesperson said: "Our final Sky Bet League Two away fixture of the 2023/24 season against Crewe Alexandra has now sold out to Season Ticket holders and Club members.

"The game takes place at the Mornflake Stadium at 3:00pm on Saturday April 20, with 1,650 Reds making the journey to Cheshire.

"Thank you once again for your outstanding support throughout the season, both at home and on the road."

The demand for tickets to Wrexham games has increased massively in recent seasons, with fans battling it out to see their team home and away.
