MOTORISTS faced delays due to "overrunning roadworks" on the A483 this morning (Thursday, March 21).
Traffic reports stated that the southbound slip road at J2 (Johnstown) remained closed this morning following overnight roadworks.
It reportedly sparked queueing traffic on the main carriageway, with a lane closure remaining in place between junctions 1 and 2 until after 9am.
Traffic monitoring servixe Inrix stated: "A483 Southbound exit slip road closed, heavy traffic due to overrunning roadworks at J2 B5426 (Johnstown). Slip road remains closed from resurfacing works last night, also a lane closure between J3 and J2."
