A POPULAR fast food chain has today opened a branch on the edge of Wrexham’s City Centre (March 20).
Following the announcement made in October 2023, McDonald's has officially opened its doors on Bradley Road at Wrexham's Central Retail Park.
As of 11am this morning, the new venue opened to the public following months of planning and refurbishment.
Due to a lack of space, the eatery is a sit-in venue only with free parking available outside the building.
Yet, concerns have been raised on numerous occasions regarding the parking situation at Wrexham's other McDonald's branch.
It came as motorists and delivery drivers clashed over the few available spaces near the restaurant on Regent Street.
The company opened a delivery kitchen at a unit on Rhosddu Industrial Estate last summer to alleviate the problem.
