POLICE are urging people to be vigilant after an elderly person was sold "fake" items by a cold caller.
North Wales Police said the incident occurred at a property in Trelawnyd area of Flintshire.
PCSO Mathew Griffiths said: "A report was received that a male in a dark coloured vehicle has attended the area and sold some items which are reported to be of a fake brand to an elderly male.
"North Wales Police have recently issued door ball cams to a number of properties in the area.
"If anyone does have information please contact 101 or myself on 07989158379."
