ROB McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have wished Wrexham AFC's oldest fan a very happy 100th birthday.
Life-long Reds fan Arthur Massey celebrated the milestone on Thursday. He featured in the docuseries Welcome to Wrexham and met His Majesty the King, during his visit to Wrexham in December, 2022.
During the King's visit, Arthur spoke about the current excitement surrounding the football club since the takeover of Rob and co-owner Ryan Reynolds.
Last year, Rob McElhenney sent Arthur a touching message for his 99th birthday, posting on X (formerly Twitter), saying: "Happy Birthday Arthur!!! Let’s celebrate 100 in the EFL!!!!"
And on Thursday, Arthur's daughter, Julie, posted a screenshot of last year's post - accompanied with: "Well Rob you were right! Happy 100th birthday Dad. Can we make it back-to-back promotions?"
The club's co-owner responded: "Happy 100th Arthur!!! Let’s celebrate 101 in League 1!!! That seems poetic to me."

As well as being a loyal Wrexham fan, Arthur has been a dedicated volunteer for the Royal British Legion's annual poppy appeal.
He is a distinguished Second World War veteran, serving as a sapper in the Burma Campaign in South East Asia.
Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal North Wales posted on X saying: "Penblwydd Hapus Arthur, Happy 100th Birthday. Thank you for all you do, over 40 years as Poppy Appeal volunteer collector in Wrexham. Diolch yn fawr".
