A POPULAR Wrexham cafe has reported another break-in has occurred at the premises - the second incident within the past month.
The much-loved Wrexham cafe 'Lot 11' says the doorway has been smashed in and the matter has been reported to police.
The incident occurred sometime after the 4pm lock-up on Tuesday (March 5) and before the cafe opened at 7am this morning (March 6).
Owner and manager Sarah Baker said this is the second incident where the building has been damaged with the first one happening just a few weeks ago on February, 18.
Nobody was injured and nothing was taken from the cafe. Both incidents have been reported to North Wales Police along with CCTV footage.
On Facebook, Sarah said: "I do apologise for the mess …. The Wrexham melt strikes again … he had a rummage around (cctv is fun to watch might post later might not) … but nothing here to take!
"Hopefully his foot isn’t too cut after trying his very best (weak man) to break the glass with his foot! Full on running across the road.
"Might have to put the prices up to pay for yet another window though!
"We carry on …. Open at 8.30 folks."
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We received a call at 5.36am today (Wednesday, March 6th) to report an incident of criminal damage at a premises on Hill Street, Wrexham.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101, or via the website, using reference number Q031889."
