THERE is set to be a large emergency service presence in Wrexham city centre today (March 6) - but there is no cause for concern.
Wrexham University has warned residents that they are conducting a 'major incident day' on campus throughout today.
There is set to be a number of simulated emergencies across the Plas Coch campus, with emergency services expected to attend.
The university is telling residents not to be alarmed.

A spokesperson for Wrexham University said: "We will be conducting a ‘Major Incident Day’ on campus today.
"There will be simulation emergencies around our Plas Coch campus, and we are expecting emergency services to attend.
"Please be aware that this event is for training purposes only and there is no cause for alarm."
