A LARGE stretch of the A494 is set for 17 nights of roadworks.
Traffic Wales has confirmed that they are to undertake essential drainage and cleansing works on the main road in Flintshire, starting next week.
The works will be carried out in both directions of the dual carriageway between Ewloe and River Dee Bridge Queensferry.

Starting from March 11, lanes one and two will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am, with a host of local diversions in place.
The work is scheduled to finish on March 28.
Traffic Wales say: "The works are being carried out overnight in March when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption."
