SCHOOLS across Wrexham and Flintshire got into the spirit of St David's Day.
Friday's annual celebration saw children in traditional Welsh costume, or don the colours of the Welsh flag.
There was plenty of fun and events, including a Royal visit from the Prince of Wales and the St David's Day parade in Wrexham.

The Leader visited a number schools to captured the celebrations, which included a daffodil or two.
