THE PRINCE of Wales' visit to Wrexham today (March 1) is the latest trip in a long list of Royal visits to the area.
William, Prince of Wales is in the city to celebrate Welsh culture and the city’s vibrant community spirit.
His Royal Highness is set to visit The Turf pub, Wrexham AFC's STok Cae Ras ground, All Saints School and the Gresford Mining Disaster Memorial.
Along the way he will hear about the great work being done in the Wrexham community to support local causes and, of course, the tale of how the football club's takeover by two Hollywood stars, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, unfolded.
The Prince's appearance in Wrexham marks the latest in a long line of Royal visits to the city and its surrounding areas.

The most recent one made before that came a little over a year ago.
That was when King Charles III visited St Giles' Church back in December 2022 to celebrate Wrexham's city status.
The King also paid a visit to the STok Cae Ras, where he met Rob and Ryan and Wrexham players and staff.
That visit was shown in series two of the 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary.
But, down the years there have been many other occasions where the city has brushed shoulders with Royalty.
