PLANS have been submitted to demolish and rebuild a half-completed Starbucks in Flintshire.
In December 2022, the chain was given the green light to build a coffeehouse on land next to Asda Queensferry's car park.
Work quickly took place on the site, but then stopped and the Starbucks has remained half-built for the last year.
And this week, a planning application regarding the site has been submitted to Flintshire Council.
It states: "Demolition of partially complete drive-thru coffeeshop and reinstatement of site; erection of replacement drive-thru coffee shop (Class A1) and associated works."
No further details on the application are currently available.

The current structure is located on the previous site of Asda's click and collect service, opposite the petrol station.
Planning documents at the time stated that the scheme was set to create five full-time jobs and 15 part-time jobs.
A previous planning report from Flintshire Council stated: "It is considered that the scale and form of the proposed building is appropriate for this location and will provide a high quality of design.
"Being a single-storey construction, the building proposed is of small scale, and the quality of the design and materials ensures it will provide a high-quality appearance which compliments the material palette and colour scheme of the Asda store."
We have approached Starbucks for further comment on the matter.
