THE WALES Air Ambulance charity has issued a statement after its helicopters were seen in Wrexham yesterday (Tuesday, February 27).
Witnesses told the Leader that an air ambulance landed on Brickfield Football Club's pitches, and another on Bryn Offa, on Tuesday afternoon.
They were reportedly responding to an incident on Edward Street, near Ruabon Road.

A spokesperson for the Wales Air Ambulance charity said: "I can confirm that the Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in that region yesterday.
"Our Welshpool-based crew were allocated at 2pm and attended by air. They arrived at the scene at 2.36pm. Our involvement concluded at 3.28pm."
North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service were approached for further comment on the matter.
