WREXHAM Council has launched a public consultation over its plans for major changes to traffic movement in the city centre.
The council is looking to get people's views on the proposals - with an online consultation running until March 25. People can take part in the consultation via https://bit.ly/3wFXQyr.
The council is proposing to make a number of routes one-way, and installs bollards to restrict access to some city centre roads.
A council spokesperson said: "The current Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) in place in Wrexham city centre have been in place for between ten and twenty years, during which time there have been significant changes to Wrexham, its population, the journeys that people make, and the way in which people move around.
"We want to ensure that the city centre is able to thrive and develop so that we have a city which is fit-for-the-future; as well as ensuring that we are improving the environment, keeping road-users safe and allow traffic to move appropriately in and around the city centre.
"Some of you may have seen some information about some of the changes proposed for the city centre, or even given your views through a number of workshops that have taken place."
There proposals are as follows:

Wrexham Council said: "For most of the city centre, we are proposing to limit access for vehicles for most of the day. We will allow for access to St. Giles Church, taxis whose base is located within the road closure, as well as any companies who require access for roadworks, maintenance, repairs etc.
"In terms of other access, we are proposing to limit this to mornings only, and would like to hear your thoughts on how this could work best."
It is proposing to remove a number of spaces for disabled parking with these proposals, so to mitigate for this, the council is proposing to introduce disabled parking bays in the following locations:
- The layby on Rhosddu Road (Outside old Nat-West bank) will have the TRO changed from a taxi bay to disabled bays and will provide six spaces.
- The layby on Holt Street (next to Ty Pawb) will also have a TRO placed on it and be able to provide a further six disabled spaces.
