A 24-HOUR bike ride has collected money in memory of a Wrexham coupled killed in a crash last year.
Teacher Nerys Jackson, 57, and her engineer husband John, 60, from Bwlchgwyn, died following a collision on the A458 near Morville Heath, Shropshire on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
Nerys was a regular attendee of the Focused Fitness training centre in Wrexham.
To honour her and John's memory - and raise money for charity - members of the centre carried out a 24-hour cycle.
In doing so, participants managed to raised a total of £1,475 (correct at time of writing) via their fundraising page which you can still donate to here.

Members cycled a total distance of 595,000m on the bike in the space of a day.
The money raised will be donated to Road Peace - the national charity for road crash victims in the UK - as chosen by the Jackson family.
A statement from Focused Fitness after the event read: "What a day yesterday was!
"We are super grateful for each and every one of our members that came along and joined us in our 24-hour cycle in memory of one of our own and her husband.
"The community really pulled together at all hours of the day to complete this challenge and, in doing so, we raised and incredible amount of money for a charity chosen by family members of Nerys and John."
