A NEW Wrexham-based business is launching very soon in the city centre.
Opening on Friday, March 8 'Up Town Girl' will be located upstairs in the Wrexham Trainer Revival store on Lord Street, Wrexham.
Owned by Carol Hazeldene, the store will feature a range of women's clothing and trainers, catering for girls and women who appreciate sport and retro clothing.
She said: "I'm friends with Stephen Tapp (owner of Wrexham Trainer Revival) who had space upstairs in the store building, so I thought I'd give it a go.
"Where Steve caters for men in football t-shirts and sweatshirts to promote Wrexham, I'll be doing the same but a women's version.
"It's my first business so I'm both excited and nervous."
Stephen said: "I’m very excited to start stocking ladies wear with Carol, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a few years but I haven’t got the eye for it. So I’m delighted that someone is coming in with fresh ideas
