A WREXHAM establishment has expressed its determination to improve its food hygiene following its recent low rating.
The Duke of Wellington Pub based in Ruabon, Wrexham, was disappointed to receive their latest food hygiene rating.
The Food Standards Agency handed the popular establishment a new one-out-of-five hygiene rating after it was assessed on January 3 this year.

A spokesperson has said: "We are due to be re-evaluated and will be back at a 5 star rating very soon."
The pub, located on Duke Street, Ruabon, has been very popular with locals over the years.
Out of Wrexham's 213 restaurant, cafes and canteens with ratings, 190 (89%) have ratings of five and just two have ratings of zero.
