AN APPLICATION for a premises licence to provide alcohol and entertainment at a community centre is among those recently made to Flintshire County Council.

A public notice regarding the application was published in the Leader this week.

Applicant Ffrith & Llanfynydd Community Association has applied for a premises licence for the Ffrith & Llanfynydd Community Centre on the High Street in Ffrith.

The application is for the centre to be able to supply alcohol for consumption on and off the premises.

The association has also applied for the rights to provide live and recorded music indoors and outdoors.

This would be between Monday and Saturday between the hours of 10am and 11pm and Sundays between 10am and 10pm, with hours extended to midnight on New Year’s Eve.

They are also applying for films to be put on indoors and outdoors between 10am and 11pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 10pm on Sundays.

  • FUL/000621/23 – Revised Application for the conversion and extension of an outbuilding to form a home office and gym; and the demolition of part of a boundary wall in order to create an off-street parking space with an electric vehicle charge point (including area of land outside applicant’s ownership) at Arweinfa, Gwaenysgor, Rhyl.
