AN investigation has been launched after an unidentified substance was spilled on a main road in Flintshire.
A Connah's Quay resident told the Leader they spotted a lot of 'blue liquid' on the main road through Queensferry and Shotton, including up to the Asda Roundabout, on Tuesday afternoon.
It has now been confirmed the substance is being investigated in the above areas and in Pentre by council officers and colleagues from Natural Resources Wales.
