POLICE have urged motorists to avoid a road in Flintshire following a crash.
North Wales Police are asking drivers to avoid the B5122 Caerwys Road due to a road traffic collision this morning.
Traffic is reported to be slow in both directions on the road between Caerwys and the A55 following the incident this morning.
Police are advising motorists to find alternative routes.
A Police spokesperson said: "Can motorists avoid the B5122 Caerwys Road before the village of Caerwys travelling from the Trelawnyd/A55 direction due to a RTC. Please find an alternative route."
A spokesperson from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to this at 8.53 hours – two appliances attended. Crews liaised with Ambulance colleagues at the scene to care for a female casualty."
The Welsh Ambulance Service has been approached for a comment.
