THEY may be behind the scenes but a chef is the main ingredient of any restaurant.
With their culinary knowhow, chefs are the creative heart of the menu, often inspired by what's local and seasonal.

In our new Meet the Chef feature, the Leader is looking to discover more about the people cooking up a storm in the region.
We want to hear about your journey in the industry, some food revelations and what the future holds.
Chefs can let us know all about them using our online Q&A here, or email claire.pierce@newsquest.co.uk for more details.
If you know of a chef that should have a moment in the spotlight, do let us know also.
Meet the Chef
We'd love to hear from Wrexham and Flintshire chefs for our weekly 'Meet the Chef' column in the Leader and online
