A MUCH-LOVED Wrexham business has announced the date for when its shop will close after 15 years of trading.
Last week, the Leader reported that 'The Secondhand Shed' will close and become an 'online only' outlet.
After being located in Pen-Y-Bryn for over 12-years, the business moved to Lord Street in Wrexham just three-years ago.
Owner Simon Hall said that the increase in rent and bills has influenced his decision.
The Wrexham store sells high quality used goods which customers say gives it a unique edge, but after what Mr Hall describes as being their worst Christmas period ever, he was left with no choice but to make the devastating decision.
On the flip side of the coin, he added that it had been an 'amazing experience' running the business down the years.
Mr Hall has now confirmed that the closing date for The Secondhand Shed will be Thursday, February 29.

The shop will remain open Monday to Saturday between 9am and 4pm until that date.
In a Facebook post confirming the closure date, Simon wrote: "The last day of trading from the shop will be February 29.
"We have had amazing support since we announced we would be closing and thank you all for the kind words.
"Still lots of stock left, most of it below half price so please keep coming in."
All remaining stock following the closing down sale will then move online only.
