AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following a house fire in Pontblyddyn.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a call came in just after 9.50pm on Tuesday reporting the incident, in Bryn Barug.
Four crews attended - two from Deeside, one from Mold and one from Buckley.
Firefighters remained at the scene until just before midnight dealing with the incident.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed there were no casualties.
The cause and extent of the damage is not yet known - with an investigation to take place today.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 10pm on Tuesday, January 30, we were called to assist colleagues from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service following a fire at a property in the area of Bryn Barug, Pontblyddyn.
"The fire is suspected to have been a deliberate ignition and our enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information in relation to the incident is urged to contact officers on 101, or via the website, using reference 24000132565."
