HUNDREDS of Wrexham fans gathered at the SToK Cae Ras as they prepared to set off to Blackburn ahead of tonight's FA Cup tie.

The Reds face off against Rovers at Ewood Park with a place in the fifth round at stake.

The winners of tonight's match know the visit of Newcastle United awaits in the next round.

Despite being on a Monday evening, the Reds sold out their allocation, with more than 7,000 fans expected at the game.

This afternoon, hundreds of Wrexham fans queued up outside the Racecourse waiting to get on one of the 18 coaches put on by the club.

Fans were queuing as early as 3pm for the buses, which eventually set off at 4.30pm.

There was a positive feeling amongst the Reds supporters with hopes of witnessing another giant killing.

Wrexham knocked Coventry City out last year and pushed Premier League-bound Sheffield United all the way over two legs.

Some Wrexham fans were certainly hoping for more of the same.

Craig Williams said: "I was meant to be on nights but I managed to swap it so I could go to the game.

"I can't wait for it, 7,000 Wrexham fans heading to Blackburn on a Monday night, it doesn't get much better.

"Hopefully we can get the result we're after and look forward to Newcastle coming to the Racecourse."
