A FLINTSHIRE salon has proudly picked up another national award after moving the business to a more spacious unit.

Rachel Wynne, owner of 'A&R Studios Hair & Beauty' is over the moon with the success of the salon over the past year - from relocating to winning two categories in the Welsh Beauty Industry Awards, she couldn't be prouder of her team.

The business moved from Church Road to Brunswick Road on the High Street in June 2023.

She said: "We simply wouldn't be here without our fabulous clients so shout out to them all.

"We are so, so grateful for our award and nomination.

"The move has also been amazing. We've made some friends for life on the High Street with the other businesses and met so many lovely new clients."

The salon won the Best Hair and Beauty Salon in Wales 2023 and has now been nominated for the Best Hair and Beauty Salon in North Wales for the 2024 awards, hosted by Creative Oceanic.

An awards spokesperson said: “It was another incredible event and we were proud to have such a great calibre of finalists this year.

"The winners are an outstanding example of excellence whose dedication to be the best has made them stand out among the rest.

The Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards 2024 is celebrating its 10th year in the industry meaning this year's ceremony is set to be bigger and better than ever.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 18 and all finalists across Flintshire and Wrexham are relying on customer votes.
