THE FLINTSHIRE Bridge has been closed this evening (Tuesday, January 23) due to high winds.
Flintshire Council confirmed at 5pm that the A548 bridge crossing has closed as the storm brings high winds. It is currently unknown when the bridge will reopen.
A Yellow wind warning is in place for the remainder of the day and into tomorrow. The Met Office has warned motorists to expect road closures due to fallen trees and debris.

People are warned to expect:
- Some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, could happen
- Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
- Any remaining recovery efforts off the back of Storm Isha are likely to be hampered.
- Road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible
