WITH a host of new restaurants opening in Wrexham, we have collated the top 10 according to Tripadvisor ratings.
Last year, we put together a list of the top five eateries in Wrexham and Flintshire based on reviews from Tripadvisor.
Now we have put together an updated list of the top 10 places to eat in Wrexham in 2024.
1. The Bank Wine Bar and Bistro - Located in the middle of the city centre, the small plates restaurant is the best place to eat in Wrexham according to Tripadvisor. It has a five star rating from 330 reviews.
2. The Boat, Erbistock - The riverside pub is up one place since last year and is rated very highly with 4.5/5 rating from 446 reviews.
3. The Nags Head - A new entry, the pub in the city centre is third on the list with another 4.5/5 rating from its 594 reviews.
4. The Golden Lion, Rossett - The pub situated between Wrexham and Chester is up one place from last year. Another highly-rated place to eat with 4.5 stars from a massive 1,182 reviews.
5. Lisbon Tapas - Situated in the middle of Wrexham, the tapas restaurant has gained a swelling of popularity in recent months and recently underwent a renovation. 5/5 rating from 131 reviews.
6. Ial Restaurant - The eatery based at Coleg Cambria, reopening Friday, January 19, has another five-star rating from 86 reviews.
7. The Beeches - Based near Gresford, the pub has amassed a huge 1,667 reviews and has a 4/5 rating from those.

8. The Dog and Pickle, Lavister - Formerly the Nags Head, the popular pub underwent a rebrand last year but the Tripadvisor ratings remain high. 4.5/5 from 510 reviews.
9. Levant - Located in the city centre, the eatery opened its doors in 2018 and has proved a popular location since. 4.5/5 from 192 reviews.
10. Anise - The popular Indian Restaurant situated near Eagles Meadow also has a 4.5/5 rating from 408 reviews.
