WREXHAM AFC has received an extra allocation of 500 tickets for this weekend’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Newport County.
After victory in the Emirates FA Cup, the Exiles have put two temporary stands in place for their upcoming fourth round tie.
As a result of this, the club has been allocated one of those stands aligned next to the Experienced Energy Solutions Stand and tickets will go on sale to club members from 4pm and will be sold online only.
Supporters will only have until 4pm on Thursday, January 18 to purchase their tickets.
Construction of the uncovered stand will get underway this afternoon in time for the League Two clash with Wrexham on Saturday after the Welsh derby sold out last week.
While the additional ticket sales will only just cover the costs of erecting the stand for the two games, the club felt it was important to offer as many people as possible from the local community the opportunity to sample big game football at Rodney Parade – and help build momentum for the future.
The temporary stand in place at Rodney Parade is uncovered, and the club wishes to remind supporters to check the conditions and dress accordingly before travelling.
The club would like to thank Newport County for their co-operation and granting the club additional tickets for the fixture.
