WORTHWHILE causes in Wrexham have thanked members of the community for their fundraising efforts over the Christmas period.
A fundraiser, set up by Turf landlord Wayne Jones, collected over £11,000 for 21 charities in the Wrexham area.
Wayne vowed to donate one full weeks 'Butty Van' sales to local charities and members of the community also donated to the cause to raise the substantial sum.
Now, some of the charities and organisations who are set to benefit from that money have thanked people for their support.
Among those set to receive a share of the donations made are Wrexham Foodbank, Yellow and Blue Hub, eating disorder charity 'Beat' and cat rescue charity Candy and Tibby Trust.
