WREXHAM AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney joked that he and Ryan Reynolds will explain "UK football restrictions" to an American co-owner of Burnley.
The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star's frustrations with aspects of football in the UK were highlighted during season two of Welcome to Wrexham.
When sat in The Turf one Saturday afternoon while Wrexham were playing at Boreham Wood, Rob was bemused as to why he and the Reds fans couldn't watch the game.
The match fell under the 3pm blackout, a rule that Rob almost broke, much to the concern of Shaun Harvey!
But it's not only Rob who has disagreed with principles in the UK either.
Ryan Reynolds slammed the bosses of the National League over their "baffling" streaming policy, which prevented the club from showcasing games to their fans across the world.
Now the pair have vowed to sit down and explain the restrictions to Burnley co-owner JJ Watt.
The former NFL star took a stake in the Clarets in 2023 and after the club's 1-1 draw with Luton Town on Friday night, he took to social media with some frustrations.
After a late Luton equaliser was given, Watt posted the video on X and labelled the decision "disgraceful".

Due to breaching the Premier League's Copyright law, the post was removed and Watt's account was locked 20 minutes after posting the video, to which he replied "That was quick".
Oh JJ. @VancityReynolds and I will give you the PowerPoint on UK football restrictions. You might wanna carve out the week. https://t.co/qsrw4nQpWy

After spotting the post, Wrexham co-owner Rob replied: "Oh JJ. @VancityReynolds and I will give you the PowerPoint on UK football restrictions.
"You might wanna carve out the week."
Could we see Rob, Ryan and JJ at The Turf for a presentation on English football?
