A NEW pizza eatery is set to officially open in Flintshire this weekend.

'The PIZZA Guys', situated in The Blue Anchor Carpark in Buckley, is officially opening to the public tomorrow night.

At 6pm until 10am on Saturday, January 13 The PIZZA Guys will open with its full menu on offer.

The business is owned by Dan Horton, current owner of Blooming Baked, which has many loyal customers based in Buckley.

He said: "I have a passion for food that in a nut shell is bad for you, so I jumped at the chance to take over The Pizza Guys and bring you some really unhealthy but feel good food.

"I had originally came across the Pizza Guys when supplying them with our cakes. I could see then it had huge potential. So when I heard it had closed I had to buy and take over it.

"We make all pizzas fresh by hand in front of the customer, We have two 500 degree Italian ovens which cook them in 90 seconds. So you can either wait while we make it or go and get a quick drink.

"I have changed the recipes so pizza are newer and fresher and added a new menu and also added Blooming Baked desserts including brownies, old school cake and cheesecake pods.

"We are attached to the Blue Anchor pub in Buckley so people can buy a freshly made pizza and enjoy them in the pub with a drink."
