A MAN has been warned he is likely to be sent to jail after admitting he strangled and assaulted a woman.
Craig Berry, of Riverside Park in Garden City, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday morning.
The 37-year-old admitted that between August 18 and 21 last year, he intentionally strangled Kirsty Lee Jones.
He also admitted that between those dates, he assaulted the same victim by beating her.
Sarah Yates, defending, told the court Berry's last conviction was in 2016 for an unrelated matter and that he has a job offer.

She asked the court to consider ordering a pre-sentence report prior to sentencing her client.
Judge Timothy Petts agreed to the request for a report, but warned that: "given the way the wind is blowing in strangulation cases, it's likely to be immediate custody."
He told the defendant he would not "make any promises in either direction," adding: "Mr Berry, I will give you the benefit of a pre-sentence report but don't read anything into this.
"The offences are serious and the likelihood is you will be going to prison."
Berry will be back in court on February 7 to learn his fate.
