POLICE arrested a man in Flintshire in the early hours of this morning following a collision.
North Wales Police were called shortly after 1.30am this morning to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A55 near Northop.
The incident involved a HGV and a box van on the eastbound carriageway.
The road was closed by officers and remained shut until around 2.45am.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, police said.
A spokesperson added: "We were called at 1.42am this morning (Friday) to reports of a two vehicle RTC involving a HGV and a box van on the eastbound carriageway of the A55 near Northop.
"Officers attended and the road was closed. A 32 man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol / drugs and remains in custody."
