ONE-HALF of Wrexham AFC's famous owners says his love for the club - and the town(/city) - is 'indescribable'.
The Reds started off 2024 in fine fashion as they beat fellow promotion-chasers Barrow 4-1 in their first EFL League Two match of the year on new year's day.
A Steven Fletcher hat-trick and a striker from Paul Mullin saw Wrexham turn things around and bag the three points after a disastrous start which saw them 1-0 down in the opening minute of the match.
And one of the club's star chairmen - Ryan Reynolds - was once again on hand to remind us that he's just like the rest of us after the final whistle blew.
It's no secret that both he and fellow chairman/actor Rob McElhenney have become obsessed with all things Wrexham since their takeover in early 2021.
And that passion and commitment paid off in April of last year as the club were promoted back to the EFL after a 15-year absence.

And that run of form has continued into life in League Two also with Wrexham currently in third in the league table and well on course for promotion to the third-tier.
After the win over Barrow, Deadpool star Ryan took to X (formerly Twitter) to say: "The love for this club and town: Indescribable."

Ryan and Rob have further helped to put Wrexham on the world stage via the hugely-successful 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary all about the club and the community.
Through that and their takeover of the club, many a new Wrexham fan has been created, shirt sales have been through the roof and the eyes of the world have well and truly been on the club.
Even the likes of Hugh Jackman, Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd have paid a visit just last year!
