A WREXHAM charity has spread heartwarming festive spirit supporting those in need this Christmas.
In a resounding display of community generosity, organisers behind the Yellow and Blue (YaB) Christmas Appeal say it has achieved remarkable success, spreading joy and warmth to over 200 families during this festive season.
Taking to facebook, a spokesman said: "Over £1,000 worth of turkeys were distributed alongside Christmas hampers, ensuring that more than a hundred families experienced the magic of a Christmas meal they might not have had otherwise.
"These hampers, brimming with everything from puddings to vegetables and assorted goodies, empowered recipients with the independence to create their own festive celebrations—a truly uplifting initiative.
"Not stopping there, the YaB Christmas Appeal has proudly delivered 100 beautiful Christmas meals directly into the community. On Christmas Day itself, doors were opened to those seeking a warm meal, with special attention given to five individuals experiencing homelessness."
The Wrexham community hub now located in Eagles Meadow was set up by Peter Humphreys back in 2017 and has continued to grow and inspire ever since.
The spokesman added: "The generosity extended to the distribution of presents has been nothing short of extraordinary.
"Tracking support for over 250 families, including referrals from domestic support, local authorities, partner projects, and self-referrals, the YaB Christmas Appeal has been a beacon of support for diverse families in need as well, including refugees.

"The community's collective effort has been awe-inspiring, fostering a sense of togetherness that has touched the hearts of all involved.
"Heartwarming feedback has poured in, reflecting the impact of this initiative. One grateful resident said "this has saved Christmas for me."
"As the year comes to a close, the YaB Christmas Appeal leaves an indelible mark of compassion, reminding us all of the power of collective kindness."
Mandy Hutchinson said: "Working in YaB over Christmas was a very heartwarming experience, knowing that struggling families would receive the help with toy hampers/Christmas food hampers and delivered if needed.
"It was amazing to be a part of it, our community is just the best and knowing that nobody was left out made my Christmas."
